How to apply for spouse residence visa in Dubai?<\/p>

If you have recently moved to Dubai, you may want to know more about residency and visa requirements. Whether you came to the UAE for your job or you want to start a new business, you are definitely looking to complete your documents and maybe you want to apply for a visa for your family.<\/p>

Foreigners who intend to live in the UAE for a long time must have a residence visa. In the process of applying for your family visa, you will be the “sponsor” and the person you sponsor is called the “dependent or sponsored”.<\/p>

Preparation of documents<\/h4>

First, you need to get an official translation of your marriage certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of origin, the UAE Embassy in the country of origin and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE (MOFAIC).<\/p>

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs of Dubai has prepared a list of documents required to apply for a spouse visa:<\/p>

1) New personal photo of spouse with white background<\/p>

2) Copy of the sponsor’s passport and residence visa<\/p>

3) Copy of spouse’s passport (which must be valid for at least another 6 months)<\/p>

4) Certified marriage certificate<\/p>

5) No Objection Certificate (NOC) if your spouse has a different nationality than you.<\/p>

6) Income certificate, employment contract or partnership contract (according to the type of sponsor visa) with a minimum monthly salary of 4 thousand dirhams.<\/p>

7) Ownership document or lease<\/p>

Visa process<\/h4>

Apply for a visa in any way, the process of obtaining a visa is as follows:<\/p>

1) Creating a sponsorship file: First, you must provide your details and information as a sponsor so that a file can be created for you in the immigration system. This is your sponsorship file.<\/p>

2) Application for entry permit: Then you must apply for entry permit for your spouse. Having an entry permit, your spouse can travel to the UAE to complete the visa process.<\/p>

3) Status change: If your spouse is already in the UAE, you must first apply for an entry permit and then enter the status change process.<\/p>

Medical test<\/h4>

Once your spouse’s visa process is completed, you must go to a medical testing center covered by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and undergo a medical test.<\/p>
